Online Competition Entries | GO LIVE

Posted on 23rd January 2016 by Nicola Liddell | Branch Web Liason

With immediate effect, all bands entering competitions within the Dundee, Perth & Angus Branch are required to register and pay for all contests during 2016 online via the Branch website. Events will include all indoor and outdoor contests including Drum Major competitions. Please note entry is available online only replacing all paper submissions. This is another welcome addition to the newly updated Branch website.

What do I need to do to enter?
You can go directly to www.rspba-dpa.org/entries or click on the Online Entries link in the menu.

When you are ready to register your entry/entries for the relevant contests, please go to the ONLINE ENTRIES tab on the top header of the Branch website, or by selecting the relevant link.

Following selection, you will have the opportunity to review events entered and make any changes accordingly. On confirming, you will then be directed to make your payment via the secure Paypal link; anyone with a bank card will be able to make payments. Thereafter you will receive an automatic email confirmation summarising events entered together with the total amount paid to retain for your records.

The form itself is presented in a user-friendly format; you simply locate your band and select the ‘register’ icon. A clear summary of all grades and playing requirements as well as relevant fees applicable are shown. You will notice that data for your band is automatically populated within fields, again to facilitate the easy registration process. All branch bands are listed however any RSPBA registered band can be found by entering any part of the Band name into the “Find Bands” search field.

It is worth highlighting that any outstanding annual Branch levy will be automatically added to the shopping cart before check out. To celebrate the launch of ONLINE REGISTRATIONS, all Branch bands are being offered an incentive of receiving free Branch levy for 2017 if entering and playing at 6 outdoor Branch contests in 2016.

The branch committee are delighted to release this new facility which we hope you will agree is efficient and instrumental in helping to raise the forward-thinking profile of the Branch. On behalf of myself and the committee, I would like to express sincere thanks once again to Jason Lafferty of Scotia Web Design for his invaluable work and ongoing assistance.

Any queries should be directed to Nicola, our Branch Web Liaison via
